Wow Pilot.......just when I thought you were making sense, you had to go and put the baristas in tight clothes. Driving my $4 latte up another buck fifty :) Scott, you're like the Gordon Ramsay of advertising, I love it. It's so easy to find yourself scrambling out there - when times get tough and lose touch with what it is you do and who it is you are. Reminding us to stay in touch with our USP is a task you take on with such conviction. (I cannot believe I just used the acronym "USP" -- that alone is a testament to your raving fan building campaign.

T-mobile stated that their hotspots will work for another five years at Starbucks without any additional fees.

Do you think Starbucks would benefit from taking a few marketing tips from a prostitute? http://pilotingtheperfectmove.wordpress.com/2008/01/12/10-marketing-tips-you-can-learn-from-a-prostitute/

Maybe their barristas should dress in tight clothes and really give the customers what they want!

Great Post and keep it up-Don't let them off the hook!

Thanks for the heads up. Since my office is typically Starbucks, it is good to know they will be closed. One of the Starbuck's barista's told me that the internet service was going to go "free" instead of the T-mobile service....it is about time. I told her I had been bashing Starbucks for a long time about that. Hopefully many other companies will come to their senses that the more people they can get to their store, for a longer amount of time, the more they will buy, the more profit they will make....hum...seems like marketing 101, but then again, I never took Marketing 101. GREAT VIDEO!!!!
